first of all, tableek commented on my last blog entry...thats kinda dope. my blog is hot!
so right now were in denver with dj low key. were not doing a show until saturday and on one end im defintely like "damn...no shows" but on the other we have some connecting to do wit a meet n greet and some other things this week. we'll be alright. i cant help but have a guilty conscience because im a sucker nice guy like that, but i know we didnt dis them by leaving. thats the last thing ima say about that...
were still on tour though...but its now the roadtrip royalty tour. haha...
we went from chicago to nebraska (stayed in a hick hotel...we squeezed in one room for 40 beans you cant beat it) and then to colorado. we were in nebraska listening to the ghetto boys with bandanas over our faces. okay i had a bandanna over my face. i figure hey if im gonna be uncomfortable because i think were the only black guys, im gonna be a jerk about it. lol...
i heard that the new royalty tour is still coming to colorado...are we gonna get beat up? i got mad insurance son.
speaking of insurance, verizon wireless is on some buellshat. donwill broke his phone 6 days into having it and they wouldnt let him get a new one. he has insurance but he has to pay 50 beans anyway. he paid it but they sent the wrong phone. what the hell?
i promise this will get interesting again. hold tight.

okay i finally understand your insurance comment. you (or dom or george) planned on axeing us from the denver bill from the jump, or at least after you got to denver... i just want to let you know that i like you, and if you spoke to me half as much as you type, we could have communicated much more clearly. my group is listed in the onion and westword and basementalism's website for a show that we are now officially kicked off of, and i'm calling friends of mine at the last minute to explain why we won't actually be performing... why couldn't this have been discussed earlier? this whole issue is off my chest now homie, i've got nothing else to say.

first off let me just say that there was no big conspiracy to axe anybody off of any bill. that is a matter to handle directly with the promoter, actually you guys spoke to the promoter at length on several occasions. we did not influence anyones decisions to pull you guys from the bill. that was done solely by the promoters.
secondly the whole myspace comment thing is kinda wack man, straight off. thats all imma say about that.
there was nothing malicious about our actions whatsoever. i can understand the confusion and even discontent that anyone from either camp would have with us but basically it boils down to communication like you said. i personally had no idea that the shows being booked were to be booked at such cutrate prices, furthermore the payment structure and the fees being taken out of performance monies were again something that was sprung on me into the trip.
so any bill that you guys got pulled from dont think we are running around badmouthing psuedo slang or tableek. that blood is on the promoters hand.
